Meet Dr. Branton
Dr. John Branton combines advanced endodontic expertise with a strong foundation of service and integrity. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University, he served as a commissioned dental officer in the United States Army, providing care to soldiers and their families. He later completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the Dental College of Georgia, where he refined his skills in complex root canal therapy and endodontic surgery. His approach emphasizes precision, patient comfort, and preserving natural teeth.
Dr. Branton began his academic career at Virginia Tech before earning his DMD from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. He was awarded the Army HPSP scholarship and immediately commissioned as a dental officer following his time at Temple. He completed five years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army and continues to serve in the Army National Guard, ensuring soldiers remain dentally ready for deployment. His advanced endodontic residency provided rigorous specialty training, further strengthened by experience in private practice before returning home to Pennsylvania. Dr. Branton is currently working towards getting his board certification and has successfully completed both the written and oral board portions of the three part examination process.
A native of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Branton is proud to serve the community he calls home. He and his wife have four children, Madeline, Cameron, Lainey, and Harrison, and value time together as a family. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, skiing, running, and cheering on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams (Go Birds!).
